At Riverfront Performing Arts, we believe in providing performance opportunities to all our students. Annually we have three large productions, two either dance based or multi-media and (new) one children's musical play. We also have in-house studio performances and music recitals throughout the year. Important to our mission is challenging both our performers and audience with thoughtful, innovative theatrical works, often using multi-media. Past performances have included:

Napoli Reconsidered                             Bournonville ballet with a modern twist

Tick Talk                                                  One-act dramatic play

A Northwoods Nutcracker                    Historical dance drama: dance, dialogue, song, projections

The Secret Garden                                 Dance drama: dance, projections, puppetry

Leonora's Flight                                     Period ballet: 1940's Minnesota

Mr. Popper's Penguins                          Musical

The Matchstick Girl                                Play with dance segments

Coppelia                                                  Traditional ballet

In the future we hope to explore the potential  of children's theatre, reach out to a wider audience, provide theatrical  training to better equip our youth for demanding performances, engage guest directors and instructors and collaborate with other arts organizations.
